I really enjoy photography. My other half gets really irritated by the fact that I never leave my camera at home and what should take 30mins can take anything up to 2 hours because I’m constantly taking a photo of something.
I don’t really have a favourite subject, I just take a photo of something if it catches my eye, although the natural world is my fave if I had to choose.

My kit bag isn’t big nor expensive, which goes to show that you don’t need a lot of equipment or expensive equipment to take good photographs – you just need a good eye and a bit of practise. My kit bag has the following items in it:

  • Canon EOS 350D with 1GB CF Card
  • Tamron 70-300mm Tele-Macro Lens
  • Canon EFS 18-55mm Lens
  • Fish-eye Converter
  • Polarising Filter for both the Canon and the Tamron lenses
  • Mini tripod

I also carry a USB cable, a basic cleaning kit for the camera, a of sunglasses and sun-tan cream. You never know when any of these items will be needed and it also means that I can just grab my bag and not worry that I’m leaving anything behind.

Please add my blog to your favourites, I will be posting regularly including a weekly series highlighting photographers on etsy.com and folksy.com. Don’t forget to visit my etsy and folksy shops for prints and my photoboxgallery shop for larger format prints and gift ideas.
